The UCSD SAE team is currently well into the design phase of its entry to the 2009 Formula Hybrid competition. Powertrain design is being finalized and testing of the 2004 chassis is expected to begin within two weeks. We are also glad to announce that the non-profit organization Plug In America has awarded us one of its 4 available grants for California universities, to develop and build entries for the 2009 Formula Hybrid competition.
